Root!t Heat Mat

Root!t heat mats provide a constant gentle heat to go under a propagator or in a small vegetative area if needed. available in 3 sizes to suit your space they are waterproof and can be used with an external themostat such as the root!t digital thermostat to accurately regulate the root zone temperature of your cuttings and seedlings.

Gently increasing rootzone temperatures can massively improve the germination rate of seeds and speed and quality of your cuttings, raising the rootzone temperature to 20-22 degrees celsius is ideal and is easily achievable with these low cost heat mats that can be used with most propagators available.

place under the propagator and place 2-3cm or so of media such as perlite or clay pebbles or granules in the propagator to buffer the heat against the cutting blocks and distribute the heat evenly preventing hot-spots..
