Delivery Information

 

All orders over £100 will have FREE UK DELIVERY applied throughout lockdown* to keep the nation growing. We use trusted courier services that offer a 1 hour delivery window with text/email notifications to keep you up to date so you can plan deliveries on a timescale that works for you.

All items will be packaged in plain boxes, wrapped or otherwise sent in discreet packaging. No mention is made to our shop name and the contents will not be visible thereby guaranteeing peace of mind if left with a neighbour or in another place of your choosing.

If no one is in, you can specify delivery to the courier company, who will re-attempt delivery up to 2 times before returning your order to us. If re-delivered to us, we will have to charge for redelivery. We would no doubt contact you before this in the attempt to minimise the need for any further charges. This will be charged at £6.95, unless subject to any further heavy/bulky item surcharges.

Heavy/Bulky Item Surcharges

Soils and substrates are the only heavy items surcharges we add onto the delivery costs. Please note: heavy/bulky items can be identified on their product pages, by the use of the Logo and/or text.

Do be assured we are only passing legitimate costs incurred and will always absorb a portion of these ourselves to lessen the financial impact of shopping with us in these uncertain times. That means if you live in any remote areas* of the UK we are offering a surcharge of only £9.95 to our standard terms to get your orders to you. Unfortunately, a next working day service would no longer apply and be based on a two day delivery.

Delivery Timescales

All packages and costs are calculated based on being sent on a UK NEXT WORKING DAY delivery. All orders received before 2pm will be dispatched same day for delivery the next available working day. Order received after this will be dispatch the following working day. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

We work with the most trusted courier services who provide us with delivery times that are their estimates. These 3rd Party services and the delays they encounter are beyond our control. This unfortunately means Saturday deliveries cannot be guaranteed at present as courier companies are not liable in cases where they do not successfully deliver on their chosen day, even when paid for.

Please do allow 1-3 days at present for delivery of next working day orders. This is due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the increased traffic leading up to Christmas. Tracking is available on all parcels and available to you.

Postal codes – HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78 PH42-44 & ZE1-3), Scottish Highlands (Post codes – AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41 & PH49-50), Channel isles, the Isle of man, Isle of wight, Scilly Isles or the Republic of Ireland. These postal areas will be subject to the standard £9.95 surcharge per order and delivery times are based on a two day service.
