Optimising Your Carbon Filter’s Performance
To ensure your carbon filter stays in optimum working order, it’s important to regulate the environment in your grow space. A space with humidity above 75% will quickly reduce the filter’s lifespan.
This can be a particular issue during the propagation and vegetative stages when humidity is at its highest. In those circumstances, keep humidity below 70% to make sure your filter stays happy and your plants thrive. Many growers have 2 filters, one that they use during the veg period (high humidity) and a second that they only put up during flower when the carbon filter is most needed, as its not used in high humidity the lifespan of this filter will be longer and more reliable.
